Available Facilities

Reproductive Health Group offers facilities for both sperm sample production and drop-off.

You can choose to drop off your sperm sample within one hour of producing it at home or arrange to produce a sample in one of its private rooms. All sperm sample deposits must be arranged by appointment.

Booking an Appointment

For sample drop-off, a sample collection home kit is required which contains a sample pot and Test Request Form to take with you to the appointment. Please contact Examen Lab on T: +44 (0)28 9023 8915 OR E: lab@examenlab.com to request a home kit before booking your appointment and provide your postal address. We will send this to you within 3–5 business days.

To book an Exact® test at Reproductive Health Group please call +44 (0)1925 202180 or email info@reproductivehealthgroup.co.uk and they will confirm a slot for sample drop-off or production.

Please note, all patients must have a referral letter from the referring clinic, GP or fertility practitioner in order to book a test. The referring clinic/clinician must be noted on the Test Request Form. We do not accept samples without a referral.

Additional Information

• Recommended drop-off time is 30 minutes from sample production, maximum 1-hour
• Abstinence period: 2–5 days

Receiving Your Results

• For hub patients, Examen will send a dry shipper upon request to ensure samples are expediated
• Our turnaround time is 7–10 days from receipt of the samples to Examen Lab, Belfast
• Results will be issued to the referring clinician by secure email.
