Available Facilities
ReproMed Dublin and ReproMed Galway clinics offer facilities for both sample production and sample drop-off.
You can choose to drop off your sperm sample within 50 minutes of producing it at home or arrange to produce a sample in one of their private rooms. Both drop-off and on-site production must be arranged by prior appointment (see below).
Booking a Test and Appointment
To arrange an Exact or Extend test at our ReproMed partner hub, please fill in this form to enter your details, select the test you require, the hub location you wish to use, and whether you wish to drop off your sample or produce it on site. The Examen team will then send you a link to make the payment. Once received, we will email you all the information you need, including the Test Request Form you must take with you to the appointment. If you’re planning to drop off your sample rather than produce at your chosen ReproMed clinic, we will also post out an at-home sample collection kit for you to use. Note that if you wish to book an Extend test, we will need to see your referral letter from your GP/clinician before you purchase that test.
Once all is completed, we will share your details with the correct ReproMed clinic, and their patient services team will get in touch with you within 48 hours to arrange your test appointment. Appointments can be made Monday to Friday every week (subject to availability).

- Drop-off time: 30 minutes from sample production, maximum 50 minutes
- Abstinence period: 48 hours to 7 days
Additional Tests/Services
ReproMed also offer Semen Analysis (SA) tests at their clinics – if you would also to have an SA test* performed on your Examen sample let them know at booking time.
Additionally, ReproMed can also offer a follow up consultation* at their clinics to discuss your Examen test results – if you would like to use this service let them know at booking time.
* Note that both the ReproMed Semen Analysis test and the follow-up consultation service are subject to a separate fee, which you will pay directly to the ReproMed clinic.
Your Results
- Examen collect samples from ReproMed Dublin and Galway every Wednesday and they will arrive at our Belfast Lab within 1 working day.
- Results will usually be ready within 7 to 10 working days from receipt of the samples at Examen Lab in Belfast.
- Your results will be sent via secure email directly to you or to your referring clinician if you have one.
