Available Facilities
The Sussex Sperm Bank offers facilities for both sample production and sample drop-off.
You can choose to drop off your sperm sample within 50 minutes of producing it at home or arrange to produce a sample in one of its private rooms. Both drop-off and on-site production must be arranged by prior appointment.

For sample drop-off, a sample collection home kit is required, which contains a sample pot and a Test Request Form to take with you to the appointment.
Payment
Payment arrangements will be made directly with the Sussex Sperm Bank.
Important Information
- Drop-off time: 30 minutes from sample production, maximum 50 minutes
- Abstinence period: 48 hours to 7 days
Your Results
- Examen will collect the samples from the Sussex Sperm Bank and they will arrive at our Belfast Lab within 2 working days.
- Results are usually ready within 7 to 10 working days from receipt of the samples at Examen Lab in Belfast.
- Results will be sent to you by the Sussex Sperm Bank.
