Francisca Mora, Clinical Embryologist at Aria Fertility, gave an overview on the four tests included in a male fertility assessment and how to interpret the combined results to propose different solutions at the laboratory level.

Francisca graduated from The University of Coimbra, Portugal in 2014 with a degree in Biochemistry, after which she started to become quite interested in the field of assisted reproduction. On that year, Francisca enrolled on the Biochemistry Master Degree at the University of Porto, Portugal, having conducted her Master Thesis research project on the topic of oxidative stress and male fertility at the Assisted Reproduction Unit of the Centro Hospitalar e Universitario de Coimbra, together with the Reproductive Biology and Stem Cells Group at the Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, Coimbra, Portugal. Francisca got the opportunity to work in an IVF clinic in London, belonging to one the biggest IVF groups in the UK. In 2021, Francisca joined the Embryology Team at Aria Fertility. She is a ESHRE certified Clinical Embryologist and combines her clinical work with research to improve the understanding of embryology to improve patient outcomes.
